NYCphotoWorks presents: Portfolio Review 22-24, October 2009

How It Works.

Thursday & Friday 22-23, October 2009
meet multiple Photo Editors throughout the day.

Editors arrive. 3 hours of reviews in 3 sessions through the day: morning, afternoon, and evening session.
Photographers meet with seven editors of over 60 leading editors throughout the day* to show their portfolio.

In order to participate in Portfolio Review, photographers must APPLY by submitting a link to their website or 20 jpg examples of original work.
Once accepted into the Portfolio Review, photographers provide a match-list ranking editors they would like to meet with.

Scheduling is done on a first-come-first-serve basis. See the list of editors.

Hosted at newly renovated Sandbox Studios in lower Manhattan strategically located on the borders of West Village, Soho and Tribeca.

Saturday 24, October 2009
Workshops:

Chris Dougherty, Director of Photography for People Magazine
Bruce Perez, Director of Photography for Redbook Magazine
Crary Pullen, Photo Editor for Time Magazine

Guest Lecture:

Kathleen Klech, Director of Photography for Conde Nast Traveler

*Please note: Each photographer attendee is reponsible for bringing their own portfolio the day of their portfolio review. Due to editors' varying schedules, photographers must be flexible in order to meet with the editors of their choice. Though NYCPhotoWorks will make every effort to match photographers to their preferred editors, we cannot guarantee that every editor of your choice will be seen.
